Dan Conway: An internationally known author, speaker and consultant on stewardship themes, Dan Conway has more than twenty years of experience helping Catholic organizations in strategic planning, communications, stewardship education, and development.
Howard Craig: Prior to joining O’Meara Ferguson as a stewardship consultant, Howard Craig enjoyed a 20-year career in Christian ministry, including 13 years as a missionary in Thailand. Following his missionary service, Howard gleaned management and communication expertise as the Executive Vice President for Guaranteed Marketing Solutions (GMS). As Chief Operations Officer for GMS he grew the company to $12 million in annualized revenue, before resigning in order to join O’Meara Ferguson.
Frank Ferguson: As President of The Pelican Group, Frank Ferguson is responsible for the firm’s client operations and engagements involving strategic planning, financial management, and capital financing.
Mark Filips: Mark Filips brings a wealth of expertise O’Meara Ferguson after serving Catholic parishes and schools in the fields of education, stewardship, development, fundraising, and executive recruiting for the past 15 years.
Albert J. Holder: As an attorney with prior experience and credentials both as a parish director of religious education and graduate of the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome (the “Angelicum”), Albert joins The Pelican Group with a unique skillset.
John Klink: As a Managing Director, John is responsible for assisting in client relationship management, and maintaining and developing select key relationships for the firm.

Mr. Klink comes to O’Meara Ferguson with an extensive diplomatic, socio-economic development and religious service background, serving the Catholic Church in official capacities for 30 years. Most recently, he was nominated by Popes John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI as a Consultor for the Pontifical Council for the Family (2004-present), and since 2007 has served as President of the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC). Founded by Pope Pius XII in 1951, the ICMC serves as the International Migration Commission for the Catholic Bishops’ Conferences and reports to both the Second Section of the Secretariat of State and the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant Peoples.

David Morrison: As Managing Director, Dave Morrison is responsible for the operations and management of The Pelican Group’s financial advisory services to clients considering and executing financing transactions.
Patrick O’Meara: O’Meara Ferguson president and founder Patrick O’Meara has spoken to audiences in North America and Europe on topics of Catholic Education, Evangelization, and Church Management of temporal affairs, including Mission Advancement, Accessing the Capital and Commercial Marketplace, and Strategic Planning. He has been quoted in Bond Buyer and Time Magazines, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal and has also frequently appeared on EWTN, Fox, CBS, ABC affiliates, and Catholic Answers Live.
Ric Rodríguez: Ric Rodriguez comes to O’Meara, Ferguson, Whelan, & Conway after serving as consultant for the Good Samaritan Foundation, the largest faith based senior care organization in the country. His experience of over 20 years with the non-profit sector includes program planning, fiscal management, human resources, strategic planning, training, capital campaigns, annual fund development and research.
Brian Rubino: Brian Rubino has been with the Company since its inception. He assists dioceses, religious orders, and other Catholic organizations with optimizing the use of their financial resources, including tax-exempt and taxable project financing and ongoing consulting. Projects he has led include the first ever diocesan financing to fund a pension obligation and a tax-exempt offering for a retirement home owned by a women’s religious order.
Koren Ruiz: O’Meara Ferguson Executive Consultant Koren Ruiz brings a valuable variety of skills and experiences to his O’Meara Ferguson clients. Utilizing his multi-cultural and Spanish bi-lingual background, Koren has served as a translator and consultant for American organizations trying to reach a Hispanic audience.
Michael Shumway, CFRE: With nearly 20 years experience as a development professional working within the Catholic Church, Executive Consultant Michael Shumway is a Certified Fund Raising Executive) designation, who lectured and led programs on a number of fundraising topics.
Fr. Ronald Lewinski: Fr. Ron Lewinski is a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago and pastor of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish in Mundelein, IL. He also serves as an Archdiocesan Dean and President of Frassati Catholic Academy, the first Archdiocesan Catholic Middle School.
Archbishop Thomas J. Murphy: Archbishop Murphy is remembered as a passionate advocate for stewardship as a way of life. He was the founding chairman of the U.S. bishops’ ad hoc committee on stewardship and the guiding light of their pastoral letter, Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response. Thousands of people have heard the archbishop pose the question, “What do I own, and what owns me?” in his stewardship talks, in his writings and in the video presentations that keep his reflections on stewardship alive and efficacious ten to fifteen years after they were first delivered.
James Francis Cardinal Stafford: In this theologically rich and thought provoking reflection on forgiveness, Cardinal Stafford explores the modern emphasis on reconciliation, the truly Christian nature of forgiveness revealed by the Father in Christ and the laity’s role in the ecclesial participation in this forgiveness as an authentic means of Church renewal.
